Wolfburn X-Mas Edition 2023 – 46%

In diesem Jahr hat der Wolfburn Weihnachtsmann die Rentiere gut gefüttert und die X-Mas-Abfüllung ist rechtzeitig eingetroffen. Und hübsch ist sie noch dazu!

Die diesjährigen Daten: Knapp über acht Jahre alt, komponiert aus zwei Fassarten – Oloroso Sherry Hogsheads und First Fill Bourbon Barrels, abgefüllt in 46% Trinkstärke, in Natural Colour und unter Verzicht auf Kühl-Filtrierung.

Die original Tasting Notes:

Nose: Sweet sherry notes mix with hints of dried fruit. Aromas of vanilla follow, and there is just a hint of coffee and dark chocolate

Palate: Juicy and mouthwatering. Rich toffee and syrup flavours lead the way, with overtones of cocoa and vanilla. Fruity sweetness coats the palate, with autumn fruit and honey notes leading to a warm, soft finish.

Finish: Vanilla notes gently fade away with a lovely trace of caramel at the end.
