Glen Moray 2007 Best Dram – 54,6%

After 14 years in classic first fill bourbon barrels, Glen Moray 2007/2022 indulges with bright fruity Speyside notes complemented by crumble cake, vanilla and some spicy wood smoke.

Tasting Notes:
Nose: Sweet vanilla, caramelized pear and crumble cake, later shortcrust pastry, a little banana and finally ripe apple.
Palate: Soft, light and tangy, with vanilla cake batter, contrasted by slightly too long caramelized pear as well as late tannins and a barely perceptible wood smoke note.
Finish: Medium length with vanilla, biscuits, a hint of woody bitterness and very subtle wood smoke.
