North British 2007 Best Dram – 57,6%

The 14-year-old North British 2007/2022 is one of the rather rare single grain bottlings of the Lowland distillery. It developed its full-bodied profile with quince and honeydew melon in a French first fill Sauternes cask.

Tasting Notes:

Nose: Initially distinctly sweet and fruity, gradually adding vanilla, quince and apricot. As the intensity fades, honeydew melon becomes more prominent.

Palate: Smooth, with a distinctly grassy note and very sweet. A fine pepper note flashes in the background, replaced by quince, pear and fully ripe honeydew melon. Full-bodied and further sweet.

Finish: Medium-long and very sweet with fading fruit and a light herbal note.
