Auchroisk

The distillery is located near Mulben near Keith and belongs to Speyside. Opened in 1974, it is one of the younger and more modern distilleries in Scotland and belongs to the Diageo group. Auchroisk does not have its own malt house. The malt is sourced externally, is unpeated and is used to produce a spirit, which often brings some spice and is primarily used in the production of blends (= Justerini & Brook).
Although the distillery is considered very modern, it is located on an industrial site and does not receive any visitors. With 4 wash stills and 4 spirit stills, about 3,100,000 million litres of alcohol are currently produced. As already mentioned, the majority of this is used for the production of spirits. Basically, Auchroisk has no relevant original bottlings on the market. The 10-year-old Auchroisk from the Flora & Fauna series is unofficially traded as an original bottling.
