We have a very friendly relationship with the distillery Glenfarclas and especially with George Grant. Glenfarclas, which means “valley of green grasslands”, was founded in 1836 by Robert Hay and bought in 1865 by John Grant. To this day, it is owned by the Grant family, who, with a great deal of foresight and continuity, always offers outstanding individual casks and special bottlings in addition to the standard bottlings. It is no coincidence that we have personally selected several Glenfarclas barrels and have been able to fill them with our name. The tastings in Itzehoe with family member George Grant have been among our highlights since 2006. The mainly used Oloroso sherry barrels give the Glenfarclas its very special aromas, which are appreciated by whisky connoisseurs all over the world.
