The Glenburgie distillery, located at Alves by Forres in the Speyside, officially started production in 1829 under the name Kinflat. In 2004/2005 the distillery was completely modernized and now is state of the art. The owners Pernod Ricard use most of the production for their Blends Teachers and Ballantines.
