FRENCH STYLE
The French style is mainly made in Haiti, French Guiana, Guadeloupe, Martinique and Réunion and is also known as rhum agricole. This is mostly distilled from sugar cane juice in column styles (with the exception of Haiti) and therefore has a lighter body than conventional pot still rum. Rhum Agricole is often described as fruity and floral with a strong, dry aroma.
