ENGLISH STYLE
English-style rum is mostly made from molasses and looks back on a long tradition. Its taste is often described as strong and spicy. The rum owes this to the long fermentation time, its production in pot stills and the long aging in oak barrels. The English style is mainly used in Barbados, Belize, British-Guyana, Jamaica, Mauritius, St. Lucia and Trinidad & assigned to Tobago.
