This 2015 Glenfarclas was aged in First-Fill Sherry Butt No. 7. It was bottled in August 2026 for the newly founded Local Dealer Community (an association of German brick-and-mortar specialty retailers). In total, the cask yielded 667 bottles at 57.0%, which were distributed among the 24 members.

We have a very friendly relationship with the Glenfarclas Distillery and, in particular, with George Grant.
Glenfarclas, which means “Valley of the Green Grasslands,” was founded in 1836 by Robert Hay and purchased in 1865 by John Grant. To this day, it remains in the hands of the Grant family, who, with great foresight and consistency, continually offer outstanding single casks and special editions in addition to their standard bottlings. So it’s no coincidence that we’ve already had the privilege of personally selecting several Glenfarclas casks and bottling them under our own name. Since 2006, the tastings in Itzehoe featuring family member George Grant have been among our highlights. The Oloroso sherry casks, which are primarily used, give Glenfarclas its very special aromas, prized by whiskey connoisseurs around the world.
