Nose: Apple crumble, caramel, floral peat.
Palate: Mixed berries, coffee cream, embers.
Finish: Oily malt, lingering delicate smoke.

The distillery is located north of Port Askaig on the isle Islay directly at the kyle of Islay. From the distillery you have a wonderful view of the isle Jura. It was built in 1846 and since 1974 it has a completely new stillhouse with six stills. It is owned by Diageo and can be mentioned as a good example for a ‘working house’ that mainly produces for blends for Johnnie Walker.
