Kingsbarns Single Cask #1650750 – 61,5%

Kingsbarns is now presenting a peated spirit for the very first time.

However, it was not the malt used in its production that was peated, but the Kingsbarns spirit was allowed to mature for six years in a cask that previously held a heavily peated malt.

Tasting Notes:
Nose: Waves of peat smoke up front, coastal character with sea spray. Fresh pear and Galia melon after time in the glass.
Palate: Sweet smoke, red currants and lime juice.
Finish: Rum flamed bananas and long phenolic finish.
