Islay’s Farm Distillery Kilchoman presents Genesis “Stage 4 – Mashing”; it is the fourth part of the limited series portraying the unique genesis of Kilchoman whisky.

Genesis tells the story of the creation of Kilchoman whisky – the 1130 day journey from barley to bottle with the aim of reviving the tradition of the farm distilling process. Each stage of the whisky making process has a profound influence on the character of the whisky.

With an exclusive cask combination of Bourbon, Cognac and Sherry casks, this is the first release in the series for which Cognac casks have been selected. The Genesis series is one of Kilchoman’s exceptional bottlings, made with a combination of 20ppm peat barley harvested from Kilchoman’s farm fields and 50ppm peat barley from Port Ellen Maltings.
