Different cask types, vintages and smoke levels are presented in Cask Strength. Each of the casks is numbered I-X for the release, each bottle individually numbered and accompanied by a short Distiller's Tasting Note. This Kilchoman is a bottling with a Sauternes cask finish, peated at 50ppm. Original Tasting Notes: The Sauternes finish adds layers of honied fruits, butterscotch and burnt sugars, combining beatifully with Kilchoman peat smoke.
