Founded in 1967 the Glenallachie Distillery was owned by concerns for a logn time. 2017 the distillery was bought by The GlenAllachie Distillers Company. Till this change the distillery produced most of the whisky for blends but now the new owner Billy Walker and his partners Trisha Savage and Graham Stevenson use the malt for more distillery bottlings. This ist the start of a new core range and some special distillery bottlings.
