With the Dalmunach 2015 we succeeded in bottling one of the first 8-year-old single malts from the young Dalmunach distillery. There are only 86 bottles because we had the remaining whiskey decanted for a subsequent finish. You can look forward to the result in the future!

At 13 years, it was in the barrel for a little longer and with a total of 271 bottles, almost 50 more bottles of this bottling are available. The alcohol content of Strathmill is still 59.1% after 13 years of maturation.

Through the Lighthouse series of the Wu DRAM Clan, we got to know our dealer colleague Jörg from Whiskyjace. Together we have now selected another cask that we have bottled together for the "Art Edition" series of Whiskyjace. This is a 12-year-old Caol Ila from the island of Islay, which was first matured in a refill hogshead and then finished in a sherry octave. The cask then yielded a total of 107 bottles with a cask strength of 57.8%. We have divided the bottles between the two partners.

This 13 year old Craigellachie matured in two refill hogsheads and was bottled by Thompson Bros. In total, the casks yielded 628 bottles with an alcohol content of 50%.
Official Tasting Notes:
Nose: Kilned malt, fermenting washbacks; pineapple, pears and apples. Quite big and slightly oily with barley sugar, soft fruits and berries. Some almonds and serrano ham.
Palate: Lots of dried barley, more raw ham, olive oil, pineapple soda, lime zest.
Finish: More zesty lime, almond butter, ginger tea and pineapple cubes.
