Westland American Oak – 46%

For the production of the American Oak, 5 different types of grain are used, Washington Select Pale Malt, Munich Malt, extra special malt, light chocolate malt and brown malt. Maturation in both Select and Reserve New American Oak casks, as well as ex-bourbon casks as the first filling, creates a very well-developed single malt. The aroma evokes childhood memories of fresh waffles and chocolate pudding. On the palate, fruity notes of cherries and bananas emerge, rounded off with flavours of chocolate, almonds and Turkish coffee.
