Founded in 1958, the Tormore Distillery is a listed building due to its impressive architecture. This 14-year-old whisky, matured in a combination of bourbon and oloroso casks, delights the nose with notes of butterscotch, cotton candy, and ginger. On the palate, flavors of orange and white grapes unfold, rounded off with hints of brandy and ginger.

Palate: Orange, strawberries & cream, prunes, fruitcake, white grapes, tangerines.
Finish: Brandy snaps, lemongrass, gorse, rye.

Nevertheless the distillery was just founded in 1958 it is listed under monumental protection. It is located in the Highlands in Advie near Grantown-on-Spey. The water the distillery uses comes from the Achovkie spring. The produced whisky is mostly used for making Blends, e. g. the Long John. The distillery is owned by the Chivas Brothers.
