For Halloween 2025, Brave New Spirits is bottling a special release: Jack-O-Barrel, Creeper of the Casks. This is a Speyside whisky from the Glenrothes distillery, which has been matured for 10 years in first-fill Amontillado sherry casks. In keeping with the occasion, 666 bottles have been filled.

Glenrothes was founded by William Grant & Co. In 1878 and is located in the Speyside in the area of Rothes. A fire destroyed warehouse number one and the 2.000 stored casks on the 15th May in 1922. The burning whiksy was flowing down the Burn of Rothes admist through the village.
