Clarendon 2007 Wu Dram Clan – 65,9%

The rum was distilled in May 2007 as a classic pot still rum at the Clarendon Distillery in Jamaica. The cask was allowed to mature for a full 19 years, an impressive 14 of which were spent in the tropical climate of Jamaica itself. It is precisely this long maturation at its place of origin that ensures tremendous concentration, intense fruit aromas and remarkable depth.

In the glass, the rum is complex and expressive: ripe mango, passion fruit, melon and gooseberries combine with elegant esters, subtle spice and that characteristic Jamaican vigour. Despite its intense cask strength, the rum remains astonishingly balanced and lively.
