Bruichladdich Old Skool celebrates 25 years of whisky making with a focus on Islay.

This 10-year-old Single Malt Scotch Whisky is a true tribute to its island home. Bottled at 50% ABV and matured primarily in Bourbon casks (95%) with a small proportion of first-fill Sauternes casks (5%), this is Bruichladdich at its best.

Notes:
Nose: A vibrant bouquet of ripe stone fruits opens on the nose, featuring apricot, nectarine, and red plum. Creamy vanilla custard and barley sugar are complemented by delicate notes of orange blossom and fresh geranium leaves, while a gentle, salty sea breeze adds a touch of coastal freshness.
Taste: The palate is balanced and viscous, with juicy stone fruits adding a bright citrus note. Layers of soft barley sugar, stewed pear, and ripe apple come to the fore, while high-quality oak contributes notes of creamy coconut and caramelized vanilla custard. Warming clove and ginger provide a gentle spice, while toasted almonds, golden sugar, and a hint of minerality lend depth, complexity, and structure to the whisky.
