Macduff 2007 Berry Bro’s German Retailers Choice – 53,2%

This 2007 Macduff was chosen during a dealer’s trip to London. Together with a few colleagues, we decided on a few barrels from Berry Bro’s. The whiskey matured in a Pomerol cask and is limited to 297 bottles. The Macduff was bottled at a cask strength of 53.2%.

Our Tasting Notes
The malty, creamy basic character of the MacDuff is perfectly complemented by the final aging in the Pomerol red wine cask. The grain notes are joined by strong yet pleasantly sweet aromas of dark, ripe berries (blackberries, currants) and a subtle wine note.
