Distilled in 1992 and bottled as a single cask on 30.06.2022, this Isle of Jura is part of A.D. Rattray’s Vintage Cask Collection range. The maturation took place in a bourbon cask. The whisky shows the great complex elegance of older Jura distillates with cedar, leather and tobacco notes on the nose followed by rosemary, hazelnut and hints of an Imperial Stout on the palate.
Official Tasting Note:
Aroma: Spanish cedar, leather, tobacco and orange peel.
Taste: Gentle hazelnut, rosemary, caffe crema and imperial stout.
Finish: Citrus and pine with cinnamon and clove on the finish.
