After finishing in Madeira barriques, the Inchgower Distillery – Madeira Finish is characterised by appealing notes of garden fruits, cereals and “chocolate malt”.
An outstanding wood treasure is the trademark of Murray McDavid. The independent bottler was founded in 1994 by industry greats such as Mark Reynier and quickly made a name for itself with re-maturations in exquisite casks. Since 2013, Edward Odim and Dean Jode (Aceo Ltd) have successfully breathed new life into Murray McDavid.
Their Cask Craft range includes single malts that mature in a wide variety of oak casks to achieve the perfect balance between wood and liquid. How and why is explained on the respective back label. Neither coloured nor chill-filtered, the bottlings unfold at a beautiful drinking strength of 44.5% vol.

The distillery was founded in 1871 by Alexander Wilson in the Speyside in the town Buckie. The name Inchgower means as much as ‘island of the goats’. The whisky is obtainable as Single Malt since 1972.
