Hernan Parra was personally responsible for the maturation of exquisite vintage rums for a new range. The rums in the series mature over many years in American oak barrels and are refined on site in sherry or port wine barrels.

Ron Dictador is distilled at Destilería Colombiana, Colombia.

In order to produce their rum they use a syrup instead of molasses. They make this syrup my boiling of the water from fresh sugarcane juice. After boiling the syrup gets fermented for about 48-60 hours, before used in Pot- and Column Stills.
