Deanston 2002 Pinot Noir – 50%

Given that Pinot Noir grapes are good enough to make champagne, the most regal of all sparkling wines, Deanston hoped that Pinot Noir barrels could be worth adding a special finish to their soft and honey-like malt. And guess what? You are sure of that: notes of vanilla, citrus fruits and sweet white wine rounded off by a very special, intense spice.

•      Nose: light and crisp, orchard fruits, followed by creamy vanilla and oak that give way to a subtle hint of green grapes.
•      Taste: Dry, sour, slightly malty with a rich tannin hint
