Francis Darroze and his son Marc roam the Gascony countryside as treasure hunters. The search objects? Special Armagnacs. About forty wineries from the heart of Bas-Armagnac contribute to the exceptional collection of the Darroze house. The independent bottlers buy their distillates either using a mobile distiller, which traditionally makes its rounds after the harvest, or already in barrel storage. In the in-house cellars, these often rare, several generations old casks or brandies are perfected by small producers.

The 18-year-old brandy rarity was distilled from 100 percent Baco grapes. This was grown by Robert Duporté from the cult community of Le Frêche.
The region is synonymous with very voluminous, deep Armagnacs that evoke memories of Demerara in rum fans. Our Domaine Duporté unfolds strong wood and roasted notes, intense fruit aromas of quinces and figs as well as almond and pepper tones at a natural cask strength of 47.5% vol.
