Like single malt, single grain whisky doesn’t have to be old to be enjoyed, especially when matured in interesting wood. The Murry McDavid team matured this grain spirit for 20 months in Caves de Douro Valley – a demonstration of the art of maturing in murga casks from McDavid’s port-making partners in the Douro Valley.

• Nose: Raspberry, creamy vanilla, oak spice
