The Long Valley Selection belongs to the independent bottler High Spirits from Switzerland. This blended malt comes from the Laphroaig Distillery and matured for 10 years in Heavily Peated Barrels.

Laphroaig means as much as ‘valley at the big white bay’ and was founded by Donald and Alex Johnston in 1826. It is located at the southern shore of Islay. The whisky is famous for its smokey-phenolic, iodine-containing and salty character. Laphroaig has its own peat fields – which can be reached by the shortest railway of the world – and also has own malting floors.
