Sandy beaches, coral reefs, giant tortoises: the Seychelles archipelago consists of over 100 islands – so hidden that they have remained virtually unknown for centuries. With Takamaka, the Trois Frères distillery provides a delicious insight into this remote paradise.

The Seychelles’ first premium rum has been produced since 2002 in the distillery founded by Richard and Bernard d’Offay on the main island of Mahé. Just 60 metres from the beach. The brothers use both fresh Seychelles sugar cane juice and molasses for Takamaka rum. The ingredients are distilled in pot and column stills.

Whether refined with their own mountain spring water, flavoured with pieces of wood in an innovative process, refined with regional spices or bottled from a single barrel: Takamaka ensures variety on the palate for rum fans and explorers alike
