After losing his father at a young age, Don Cenobio Sauza left his family’s farm in search of a better life.
His journey took him to the vibrant city of Tequila, where he fell in love with the area and found permanent employment at a local distillery. Here, he acquired the ingredients and tools for his future success. He took on all kinds of tasks that taught him about the distillation process, slowly but surely refining his craft. After years of struggle, he took the plunge into self-employment and founded his own distillery: “La Perseverancia” – a name that aptly describes Don Cenobio’s perseverance on his path to success as an independent entrepreneur.
