The Dominicana 8 y.o. complements the Core Range with a fresh, lively rum with notes of chocolate, pear and pineapple. It was distilled from the juice of sugar cane that grows around a state-of-the-art, environmentally friendly distillery in the Dominican Republic. It combines the sweeter notes of ripe fruit with the freshness of sugar cane, which adds a hint of eucalyptus and green fruit.

The goal of Rum Nation? To make the individual character of rum-producing nations accessible with handpicked bottlings. Founded in 1999, the company today looks back on an impressive range of bottlings from the Caribbean, South and Central America, as well as underdogs like Madeira. In contrast to its single domain rums, the independent bottler reveals which distillery the individually numbered rarity is owed to in the Rare Rums series. The small-batch series also stands out externally: with an elegant glass stopper instead of the usual cork, a reduced black-and-white design and new gift packaging.
