The distillery Brackla was founded in 1812 by William Fraser. Since 1835 it is one of only three Scottish distillery that may wear the name ‘Royal’. It is located in Cawdor near Nairn in the Highlands. It owns four stills since 1970 and is owned by Bacardi since 1998.
