The story of this single malt began on June 15, 1990, at the renowned Longmorn Distillery in the heart of Speyside. The spirit matured for over 36 years in a single hogshead before being selected by Signatory Vintage on June 25, 2026, for the exclusive “Symington’s Choice” range. This special edition marks the 50th anniversary of Kirsch Import, making the whisky a historically significant testament to the art of independent bottling.

In the glass, the whisky displays a warm honey hue, a color derived entirely from its long maturation in wood. The aroma captivates with notes of ripe apples and pears, harmoniously blending with dark raisins and a delicate hint of vanilla. On the palate, it reveals an impressively creamy texture characterized by fruit compote and caramel, while the long, elegant finish is accompanied by dry oak and a subtle touch of sherry.
