Edradour 1999 Madeira #903 200th Anniversary – 54,4%

Small, authentic, independent: Since 1825, Edradour has embodied the spirit of traditional whisky making. In the Highland village of Pitlochry, the distillery continues to produce single malts that make the hearts of enthusiasts beat faster. Limited editions for its 200th anniversary are further boosting demand.

Two single casks take their place at the anniversary celebration, each having spent a quarter of a century maturing in red wine casks, courtesy of distillery owner Andrew Symington. The Edradour 25 y.o. – Bordeaux Cask #816 and Bordeaux Cask #811 combine the rich, creamy Edradour aromas with the fruity, dry character of the wine-soaked hogsheads.
