Black Tot Historic Solera – 46,2%

Until July 31 1970, it was normal for every seafarer in the British Navy to get a daily ration of rum. On ththis day this ritual ended so this day is known as Black Tot day. The history of Black Tot rum started 11 years ago when bottles of traditional Navy rum were discovered in an English marina. The bottles contained rums from Jamaica, Guyana and Barbados, which therefore have not been touched for more than 40 years. In 2011 these bottles of the historic rum were rebottled and launched on the market as “Black Tot The Last Consigment”. The new rum – simply “Black Tot” – pays homage to the moment that changed everything. However, the Black Tot is a creation for modern rum connoisseurs! The traditional Caribbean style was used to create a recipe that contains the natural fruit flavors of Barbados, added depth through the full-bodied Guyana rums and intertwined with the vibrancy of the Jamaican rums.
