The Arran Port Cask Finish has been part of the distillery’s wine finish series for years. Before being transferred to port casks for a finish, the whisky matured in traditional bourbon casks. This bottling exhibits fruity and spicy notes.

The distillery Arran is located on the head of an island that owns the same name and lays between the western coast of Scotland and the peninsula Kintryre. The island Arran has good access from Glasgow by car and ferry. The distillery started producing in 1995 on time delay, because of a pair of Golden Eagles that hatched right where the distillery was supposed to be build. It was built by Harold Currie, who had been very successful in the whisky industrie and even was director of Chevas. With building the distillery a big dream for him came true.
