Founded in 1825, the traditional company Chapuis Comoy is the oldest existing pipe manufacturer in the world. In the midst of the mountainous and wild landscape of the French Joura is the pipe mecca of Saint Claude, where pipes were first made from the root wood of the Erica Arborea, better known as Bruyere.
The owner of the company, Antoine Grenard, is a trained industrial designer and a direct descendant of the founding family Comoy, who also founded a branch in London (Comoy of London). In addition to a variety of wonderful old models, the range also includes modern creations.
