Invergordon 2009 Best Dram – 56,3%

This 12 year old Invergordon was finished in a Refill Port Hogshead and was bottled by Michel Reick for the Best Dram series.

Tasting Notes:
Nose: Luscious fresh grass, then buttered scones, hints of apricot jam and light black tea with cream.
Palate: Grassy, but not quite as fresh anymore, plus more scones with less butter, apricot and stronger black tea. At the end melt-in-the-mouth milk chocolate is added.
Finish: Medium length and elegant with sweet black tea with cream and scones.
