With the Extinct Blends Quartet, Compass Box reinterprets four of the most popular blended Scotches from yesteryear, drawing on some of its rarest and most original whisky stocks.

For the third release in the series, Compass Box is travelling through the urban success story of whisky blending. Because: The origins of Scottish blended whisky lie in vibrant metropolises.

Metropolis is therefore the fitting name of the new limited edition.

It combines notes of shortbread and honey from Aberlour and Miltonduff with an oily character and dried fruit from sherry casks and creamy, tangy grain notes with metallic, smoky hints from Bowmore, thus capturing the diverse life in the city.
