The Talisker Wilder Seas x Parley is a special limited edition bottling of 17,940 bottles, which has been given a finish in cognac casks. For almost 200 years, Talisker has proudly braved the elements on the Atlantic coast of the Isle of Skye, amidst a landscape of extremes that makes whisky what it is. With Talisker Wilder Seas, a limited edition bottling is now coming onto the market, for which each bottle is made with bio-diesel and from 100% recycled glass. In addition, the island distillery has teamed up with the non-profit environmental organisation Parley For The Oceans. The mission: to protect and restore 100 million square metres of natural marine space. For this, Talisker supports the ocean protectors with 3 euros per bottle produced. Without the sea, there would be no Talisker. Wilder Seas was the first Talisker ever to be finished in cognac casks. Soft plum and sultana notes capture the wild, unbridled power of the sea with unprecedented depth. A full-bodied fruitiness follows, flanked by delicate sea salt and hints of smoke and spice.
