For the Limited Edition Vellichor, Compass Box was able to draw on single malts from one of Scotland's most famous distilleries: Macallan. The malty-sweet, oily whisky is complemented by fruity, earthy components from Highland Park, a hint of coastal smoke from Caol Ila and heavy, leathery and dark-fruity blend components from sherry casks. Composed in this way, the blended Scotch rarity succeeds in recreating what it is named after: Vellichor, the unique atmosphere of antique shops. Typical for Compass Box, the packaging also matches the contents. Vellichor is delivered in gift packaging designed as a book.
