Bladnoch 11 Years “2023 Release” – 46,7%

May we introduce: Bladnoch 11 years 2023 release. A look at the Bladnoch timeline reveals, however, that there is not a single 11-year-old drop in the bottle, after all, the distillery was not in production from 2009 to 2017. But since they didn’t want to change the label for the popular “Bladnoch 11” quality, 13- and 14-year-old bourbon barrels are now used, because older than the stated 11 years is allowed.

However, this circumstance has resulted in a price adjustment, but the new release now also comes in the exclusive sight box. Like the previous releases, this year’s bottling is available as a limited edition.

The new Bladnoch quality is characterised by luscious fresh bourbon cask influence and shows beside the Bladnoch-typical green notes also a lot of honey-toned and vanilla flavours.

Tasting Notes:

Nose: Delicate and lush. Floral with aromas of honey, fresh citrus notes as well as hay and mown grass.

Taste: Elegant floral, freshly cut apples and a nice spiciness in the background.

Aftertaste: Sweet and mouth-filling, gentle and fruity finish.
