Linkwood 1995 Best Dram PX Sherry #15 – 50,6%

The Linkwood distillery is renowned among connoisseurs for its elegant and typically floral style—qualities that reach a new dimension here thanks to an exceptionally long maturation period. Distilled on June 5, 1995, this single malt spent a total of 31 years in a first-fill Pedro Ximénez sherry hogshead. Having previously held intensely sweet PX sherry only once, the cask was able to impart immense aromatic depth to the spirit before being bottled—unfiltered and with natural color—by independent bottler Best Dram on July 17, 2026.

On the nose, an opulent bouquet of raisins, ripe plums, and dark syrup unfolds, accompanied by subtle notes of vanilla and caramel. On the palate, the whisky impresses with a velvety texture and a full-bodied character, revealing flavors of dried figs, honey, and brown sugar. The long-lasting finish is defined by distinctive oak spice and nuances of dark chocolate, harmoniously rounding off the mature, dry character of this Speyside classic.
