Advice like in our shop
For decades we have chosen our whiskies and spirits ourselves, and some casks have even been bottled under our own name. Looking for something specific or a tip to get started? Call us on +49 4821 2676 or visit us at Breite Straße 13–17 in Itzehoe. Part of the range can be tasted at our bar.

Questions & answers
What does cask strength mean?
The whisky is bottled as it comes from the cask, without being diluted with water. The alcohol content is therefore usually well above 50 % vol. A few drops of water in the glass often open up new aromas.
What is an independent bottling?
Independent bottlers buy single casks from distilleries and bottle them under their own name, for example Signatory, Gordon & MacPhail or Malts of Scotland. This creates bottlings the distillery itself does not offer.
What does single cask mean?
All bottles come from one single cask. Every bottling is unique and usually limited to a few hundred bottles.
Can I taste before buying?
In our shop in Itzehoe you can taste part of the range at the bar. For tasting at home there are samples and miniatures, and we regularly host tastings.
How do you ship spirits?
We ship with DHL and pack every bottle securely. Within Germany shipping costs €7.90 and is free from an order value of €150.
How old do I need to be to order?
We sell spirits only to persons aged 18 and over. That is why we ask for your date of birth when you order. Please have your ID ready on delivery.
