Whisky has been produced at the Glendronach Distillery in the Scottish Highlands for almost two centuries. Maturation largely takes place in sherry casks, which are key to the distillery's rich, sherry-led style.

Under the guidance of brand ambassador Thomas Kunze, we will taste the following whiskies:

With seven bottlings from the Plantation/Planteray brand, brand ambassador Carla Wolf introduces us to the differences in production, maturation and taste. An ideal evening for newcomers and connoisseurs of the world of rum alike.

49 whiskies, seven crosses and plenty of surprises: at our Whisky Lottery, the draw decides what goes in your glass.

At our shop in Itzehoe

This evening we start the second round of our Whisky Lottery. A total of 49 whiskies will be poured, each randomly assigned a number.

Just like the lottery, each participant fills in their “ticket” and marks seven crosses without knowing the whisky selection or how the numbers were assigned. These are the seven whiskies the participant gets to try during the tasting.

Participants are free to swap whiskies among themselves. If a bottle runs empty, it is replaced by another whisky. In addition, a special bottle will be raffled among all participants, with a 1 in 49 chance of winning. The tasting is hosted by our lucky charm, Michel Reick.

This year, too, we would like to spend one more special tasting evening with you at the end of November or, as the Whisky Druid would put it, pull “a few old threads” out of the wardrobe.

Once again there will be a mix of current, strictly limited and long unavailable bottlings. Seven whiskies will be tasted in total.

As usual, they will be presented by Michel Reick of Kirsch Import, which, incidentally, celebrates its 50th anniversary this year.

Calling all Laddie fans: this year Bruichladdich Distillery celebrates the 25th anniversary of its reopening in 2001.

Together with brand ambassador Ewald Stromer, we are taking this anniversary as an opportunity to look back a little and to taste current anniversary bottlings with you, along with a few rarities from the last 25 years.

In total there will be at least seven whiskies, probably more, and certainly a surprise or two along the way. This highlight brings our 2026 tasting season to a close!
