Mars whisky from Japan was produced by Hombo Shuzo Ltd. manufactured between 1985 and 1992. It has been in production again since 2011. The distillery is located in the village of Miyata at an altitude of about 800 meters. The low temperatures prevailing there ensure that the whiskey matures slowly.

A combination that enables Mars to produce new whiskies again and again that know how to surprise connoisseurs in their complexity. The latest single malt from Mars comes entirely from the Tsunuki distillery: the Mars Tsunuki 2022 Edition.
Located in the subtropical south of the country, which is warm up to 36°C, Mars only opened the distillery in 2016 and has since used the facility mainly for maturation. Tsuniki bottlings are therefore rare. Now Mars is providing a sought-after supply. The 2022 Edition was distilled and matured in Tsunuki. The flavour-intensive single malt balances sweet fruits and earthy notes that create a noble drinking experience.
