The first impression belongs to the nose. It is greeted here by a deep, dark fruitiness before the palate tells the story of 15 years of maturation in Spanish oak. This Linkwood from “The Old Friends” is a prime example of how a distinctive cask character and an elegant spirit base can merge into a harmonious whole. The first fill Ribera del Duero barrique shapes this 15-year-old Linkwood. Dark fruit and cocoa give it a seductive note.

A companion for special moments that carries the story of 25 years of maturation and shows that true depth only comes from combining patience with first-class craftsmanship. This Macallan from the Speymalt series is far more than a spirit; it is a liquid testament to an era that now finds its way into the glass in its finished form.

This Macallan matured from 2007 to 2026 before being bottled by Gordon & MacPhail. The release is limited to 143 bottles and has an alcohol content of 53%."The Speymalt from Macallan Distillery range includes a series of exceptional Single Malts, each matured in the highest quality casks selected by Gordon & MacPhail. Stewed berry aromas with festive spices and clementine. The palate has blackcurrant compote, vanilla and orange zest. The finish has rich fruit cake with mature oak."

This 20-year-old Macallan was bottled by Gordon & MacPhail for the Speymalt range. The whisky matured from 2004 to 2024 in sherry cask number 22606605.

Distilled in 2018 at the Edradour No. 2 extension, this Highland whisky spent its entire maturation in 1st fill Châteauneuf-du-Pape hogsheads. A dialogue of dark berries and spicy pepper notes.

The Benromach Distillery is located on the northern edge of the small town of Forrest in the Highlands. It was built in 1898 during the whiskey boom and closed again immediately after its completion. Over the course of its history, it changed names frequently and was closed and reopened several times. In 1993, it was purchased by Gordon & McPhail and reopened on October 15, 1998—exactly 100 years after its founding—in the presence of Prince Charles.

The Glenlivet was the first legal distillery to be founded under the “Art of Excise” in 1824 by George Smith with an official government license. It is located in Minmore near Ballindalloch in Speyside. The distillery has been at its current location since 1858, and in 1880, it successfully fought for the right to use “The” as a prefix to its name in court. The current owner is Pernod Ricard.

We have a very friendly relationship with the Glenfarclas Distillery and, in particular, with George Grant. Glenfarclas, which means “Valley of the Green Grasslands,” was founded in 1836 by Robert Hay and purchased in 1865 by John Grant. To this day, it remains in the hands of the Grant family, who, with great foresight and consistency, continually offer outstanding single casks and special editions in addition to their standard bottlings. So it’s no coincidence that we’ve already had the privilege of personally selecting several Glenfarclas casks and bottling them under our own name. Since 2006, the tastings in Itzehoe featuring family member George Grant have been among our highlights. The Oloroso sherry casks, which are primarily used, give Glenfarclas its very special aromas, prized by whiskey connoisseurs around the world.

This 12-year-old Tormore from PX Sherry Cask #47177 was bottled in 2026 to mark the 50th anniversary of Kirsch Import.

Edition 84 of the 100 Proof series comes from the Mortlach Distillery. The whisky was distilled in 2016 and finished in first-fill PX sherry butts.

Distilled at the Glenallachie distillery in September 2008, this Speyside single malt matured for over 17 years before being finished by independent bottler Duncan Taylor in June 2026. Its distinctive character stems from a final maturation period in a Pedro Ximénez Octave cask; the significantly smaller volume of these casks increases the contact area between wood and spirit, resulting in an exceptionally rich and intense flavor profile. With a strictly limited release of just 87 bottles and a bottling at a natural cask strength of 55.3% ABV, the authenticity of this craftsmanship is preserved. Visually, the whisky impresses with a deep, dark amber hue, achieved entirely without the use of coloring or chill filtration. The bouquet opens with rich aromas of dark dried fruits, underpinned by sweet maltiness, honey, and a delicate pinch of cinnamon. On the palate, a concentrated syrupy note emerges, paired with the structure of spicy oak and vanilla. The finish is remarkably long and dry, characterized by nuances of coffee and licorice alongside elegant tannins.
