Founded as recently as 1958 in Advie near Grantown-on-Spey in the Highlands, the distillery is already a designated historic landmark. Its water comes from the Achvochkie spring, and its whiskey is used primarily in blends such as Long John.
Following its acquisition by Elixir Distillers, a new chapter began for the distillery in 2022. The vision? To bring the original character of the “Pearl of Speyside” back to the forefront and establish Tormore as a single malt. For the first time in many years, the three-part Core Range showcases the distillery’s elegant, fruit-forward signature style.

The Tormore 12 y.o. complements the Tormore character with notes from first-fill bourbon, cream sherry and toasted new oak casks. The result is a delicious all-rounder, combining peach crumble, creamy vanilla sauce and poached pears with subtle spicy notes.

Inspired by old-school whiskies from sherry casks of the 1980s, the Tormore 16 y.o. retains its characteristic fruitiness even after full maturation in American and European oak sherry casks.
