It was built by Harold Currie, who had been very successful in the whisky industrie and even was director of Chevas. With building the distillery a big dream for him came true.

This single malt whisky matured in some of the finest sherry casks available to the whisky industry. This makes it both luxurious and elegant, with layers of rich sweet spice and oak. This whisky marks a return to the style of some of the earliest Arran single malts, which were mostly matured in sherry casks. This sherry cask whisky matured for 7 years in first fill sherry hogsheads.
Tasting Notes:
- Colour: Polished mahogany
- Nose: Raisins, mandarins and a hint of spice that promise a full-bodied dram.
- Palate: Warm notes of ripe figs and sweet cherries, luxurious yet beautifully balanced between the powerful sherry cask and the subtle Arran character, which preserves its finesse.
- Finish: Long and spicy with a hint of pink peppercorn, hazelnuts and toasted oak. Elegant.
