Made from malted barley at Bowmore, Islay's oldest distillery, this 2004 vintage Scotch single malt matured in a single refill bourbon barrel. Milroy's bottled it in 2026 at 52,3 % vol. in an edition of 269 bottles of 0,7 litres each, non-chill-filtered and with no added colouring. The Vintage Reserve pays tribute to Jack and Wallace Milroy, who founded London's original specialist whisky shop in Soho in 1964 and bottled selected single malts for their range.
On the nose you will find maritime notes, ripe pineapple and a hint of vanilla, accompanied by the subtle smoke of an old tobacco tin. On the palate, juicy pineapple sweetness and salty minerality meet gentle spice and restrained smoke. The finish stays dry: the fruit recedes while tobacco smoke, mineral hints and a touch of pepper linger.

Nose: Maritime nuances and ripe pineapple merge with the delicate vanilla sweetness of the bourbon barrel. The subtle smoke of an old tobacco tin lends the bouquet an elegant, many-layered depth.
